Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Prestige international school and PU college on 22 September.This noble cause was graced by the chief guest, Mrs.Uma Prashanth,Deputy Commissioner of Police.She highlighted the importance of blood donation and also created awareness about addiction of mobile and drugs among the students.
The program was also graced by Dr.Rajeshwari devi – DMO of Wenlock Hospital,Mr.Peter Pinto – Founder President of JCI Lalbaug, Mrs.Soujanya Hegde – President of JCI,Mr.Kasim Ali – Founder Chairman of Hidaya foundation,Mr.Haneef Haji – President of Hidaya foundation.
Dr.Rajeshwari Devi spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of the Prestige international school management & staff for their role in spreading social awareness about blood donation.
Along with the guest of Honour, Management of the school represented by Chairman – Mr.Hyder Ali, Managing Director – Mrs.Reshma Hydeer, Managing Trustee – Mr.Syed Faisal were also present.
Taking care that the program moved on smoothly, the school and PU staff comprising of the PU Principal -Mr.Suresh Babu, School Principal – Mrs.Feroza Fayaaz,Vice principal – Mrs.Janaka Nandini and School Counsellor, Renowned child psychologist, Mrs.Inspiration – Dr.Ruksana Hassan were also present.
In order to boost the morale of the blood donars,Mr.Ziya-Treasurer of Hidaya foundation, Mrs.Nasreen- the Principal President of ATT ,Mr Khaleel Ibrahim- president of youth wing, Mr.Abid Asgar- Secretary of Hidaya foundation,the winner of Mrs.Mangalore- Sudeekhsha Kiran and the finalists of Mrs.Mangalore graced the program as special guests.
It was a grand success were many donors participated for the good cause.This was an opportunity for the students of Prestige school to know their social responsibility in our society.
Along with the blood donation programme,it was a momentous occasion as Mrs.Soujanya Hegde along with other guest dignitaries inaugurated the Pad Disposal Machine, to help maintain the hygiene in the school.
